Communicable Disease Services
The Communicable Disease staff of Clay County Health Department is responsible for the prompt investigation of disease outbreaks and unusual situations and to implement control measures to minimize further transmission of disease. Communicable Diseases are diseases that can be spread from person to person and also from animals to man. Many of these can be controlled by appropriate vaccines or treated with medications.
