Infants and Children up to 5 years of age

Breastfeeding women who have had a baby in the last 12 months

Non-breastfeeding women who have had a baby in the last 6 months
WIC provides FREE:

Breastfeeding support

Expert dietary counseling

Health care referrals and community resource information

Medical Supplements/formulas, if applicable
Am I eligible for WIC?
To be eligible, you or your child must:

Live in North Carolina
-
Live in a household with income at/below WIC guidelines or currently receive Medicaid/FNS/TANF benefits

Meet with a WIC nutritionist during your certification appointment to assess nutrition risk
